I working in LAN without Internet access. But, initially, bitmessage sets the initial point of locate on the Internet and not work. If knownnodes.dat has been change using python, all working it's good. Need ui interface for change this file.

With the addition of local address rejection this is no longer possible (without modified clients). Only non-private ip addresses are accepted and broadcasted to other clients.

In addition to the user being able to select their own known nodes via the UI. There needs to be a "LAN" selection box. It would flip a client between LAN only and WAN only connections.

I very much like that idea.
