running kde 4.10 I am having pybitmessage start in the system tray. When I left click it does nothing. I must click right and select "show pybitmessage". I believe that this is an incorrect action. Furthermore, there is no way to minimize it back to the tray only. Once I have shown bitmessage it must be closed and restarted in order to have it only exist in the tray.
Can you right-click on the tray icon, and uncheck "Show Bitcoin"? That minimizes to the tray for me on XFCE.
This is something that I've noticed on KDE for a while, but it wasn't a critical enough bug to be very annoying to me. If nobody else wants to fix it I'll have a go.
The 'right-click' portion of the bug report isn't just KDE. Personally it doesn't bother me. Can you minimize via the tray icon in KDE?
On Cinnamon, clicking on the notifications when Bitmessage isn't shown does not show Bitmessage. Left-clicking the icon does not show Bitmessage. On Windows, clicking the notification does nothing regardless of state (last I checked).
I think these are related, but I don't know how to fix them.
This has been fixed in

. Tested on Windows 10, OSX El Capitan and Ubuntu 14.04.
